Mr Draganchuk works on all aspects of the development, acquisition, disposal and financing of energy and oil & gas assets in Ukraine. Moreover, Yuriy regularly advises clients (state and private energy/oil & gas companies operating in Ukraine, power industrial equipment producers and potential foreign investors) on the Ukrainian energy regulation system and specific regulatory issues, i.e. licensing, tariffs, public tenders, and corporate structuring.

Mr Draganchuk has advised all the stakeholders in energy and oil & gas transactions (lenders, developers, contractors, etc.), including on projects related to the operations of Activ Solar, Benning Corporation, Burisma, Cadogan Petroleum, Continium Group, DTEK, Energoatom, Geo Alliance, Naftogaz, Shell, and Ukrtransnafta. Among other projects, Yuriy advised on a number of landmark financings and the debt restructuring of Naftogaz; he advised the EBRD on the creation of an enabling legal framework for the operation of Energy Service Companies (ESCO) and energy efficiency projects in Ukraine.

Mr Draganchuk has advised a number of international banks (Bank of Austria, Barclays, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Erste, ING, J.P. Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Standard Bank, The Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS, Unicredit) on cross-border financing, debt restructuring, Eurobond issues, and IPOs by the largest energy companies in Ukraine for a total amount of over USD 6 billion.
