Sayenko Kharenko’s lawyers spoke on the best offshore locations for business

On 20 November 2013,a seminar – “Choosing an offshore location for your business” was held by Moore Stephens CIS in Moscow. The event was chaired by Dr. Andrei Liakhov, Partner at Sayenko Kharenko. 

The seminar covered issues of incorporation of companies and doing business in the most popular foreign locations used by CIS businesses including Cyprus, Jersey, Luxembourg, The Netherlands and Switzerland.

Sayenko Kharenko’s counsel Alina Plyushch spoke on the “Transborder Restructurings – Options and Opportunities” topic.

The event gave businesses an opportunity to answer the questions they had, as well as the chance to find out about the current situation in several main European offshore locations and highlighted ways in which Russian and other CIS businesses can most effectively use offshore structures.
