Sayenko Kharenko advised German financial investor on acquisition of one of the world’s leading providers of adhesion and surfacing solutions
Sayenko Kharenko acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to Capiton AG (Germany) in connection with acquisition of Ukrainian subsidiary of Dynea-Group (Finland).
The deal was closed on 17 February 2014.
The Finnish chemical group Dynea is а leader in the European market of industrial adhesive systems with subsidiaries in Germany, Finland, UK, Poland, France, Romania, Austria, and Ukraine. The group specializes in the production of formaldehyde based adhesive, which are used, for example, in the automotive and engineering industries. Dynea also produces paper overlays and oil field chemicals. Dynea employs 300 full time employees and has annual sales of approximately EUR 220 million. Dynea is headquartered in Helsinki.
Sayenko Kharenko’s scope of work included due diligence of Ukrainian subsidiary of Dynea-Group and full transaction support of Ukrainian part of the deal.
The firm’s team for the transaction included counsel Leonid Antonenko, associates Oleksandr Bevz and Kateryna Zhebanova, and was led by partner Vladimir Sayenko.
