Sayenko Kharenko – legal counsel on the USD 26 million loan to Ukrgrafit
Sayenko Kharenko acted as legal counsel to the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on the USD 26 million loan to Public joint-stock company “Ukrainsky Grafit” (Ukrgrafit, Zaporizhia).
Ukrgrafit will use the funds raised for financing of the reconstruction and modernisation of the manufacturing facilities and introducing energy efficient technologies into the production cycle.
Ukrgrafit is the only Ukrainian manufacturer of graphite electrodes for electric steel, electric-arc furnaces and other applications in the steel, aluminium, magnesium and titanium industries.
Sayenko Kharenko’s team for the current transaction included senior associate Igor Lozenko, associates Marta Hontaruk and Taras Shyb and was led by partner Nazar Chernyavsky.
