Sayenko Kharenko’s partner spoke at the 9th CIS Local Counsel Forum
Oleksandr Padalka, Sayenko Kharenko’s partner, spoke at the 9th CIS Local Counsel Forum (the Forum) held recently in Vienna (Austria).
This year’s Forum brought together specialists from 20 different jurisdictions. Judges, representatives from the business community, international organizations and associations, lawyers and academicians gathered to discuss such important issues as partnership between corporate and external counsels, Forum’s social responsibility initiatives, development of legal infrastructure industry, practical and legal aspects of technologies for sustainable development, etc.
Oleksandr Padalka spoke in the panel devoted to the increasing role of the legal infrastructure industry and its elements, such as professional media, consultants, legal directories, human resources and marketing. Oleksandr shared his expertise on main sources of PR origin and its major peculiarities in Ukraine, role of public relations in a law firm’s activity and special nature of legal PR.
The Forum is the main platform in the CIS economic region for the annual wide-scale gathering of leading business lawyers. Over the years, it has evolved into an informal network of managing and senior partners of national law firms from the CIS countries bringing them together with partners from international law firms from around the world.
