Mykyta Polatayko spoke at the XXII International scientific-practical conference “Topical issues of intellectual property”

Mykyta Polatayko, Sayenko Kharenko’s associate, spoke at the XXII International scientific-practical conference "Topical issues of intellectual property", which took place on 9-11 September in Kyiv. The event was organized jointly by the State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine (State Service), the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the State Enterprise "Ukrainian Institute of Industrial Property" (SE "UIIP") and its branch "Ukrainian Center of Innovations and Patent Information Services".

This year, the hosts of the сonference expanded the range of the topical IP issues. In particular, in addition to copyright, industrial property and examination of IP, significant attention was paid to the protection of intellectual property rights on the Internet and litigation in relation to intellectual property rights.

Mykyta Polatayko spoke at the first section, devoted to the interaction of legal protection of intellectual property and information technologies. In his presentation, Mykyta presented some methods to improve the protection system of copyright and related rights in Ukraine in terms of software developers (including game developers).

Mykyta Polatayko, IT group coordinator at Sayenko Kharenko, has a long-term experience of advising clients in IT sector with a special focus on intellectual property including registration and transfer of software copyright and other related issues.
