Sayenko Kharenko’s counsel recently spoke at the round table devoted to the situation in Crimea

Leonid Antonenko, Sayenko Kharenko’s counsel, was recently featured as a speaker for the round table “Crimea. After half a year of ambiguity”, held on 12 September in Kyiv and organized by the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA).

The participants of the round table discussed the most topical issues related to Crimea’s ambiguous status as well as touched upon such questions as operation of the Crimean companies from a perspective of corporate law, practical aspects of the registration of real estate in Crimea, peculiarities of financial relations and recent court practice.  

In his presentation “Crimea’s free trade zone: mechanism of economic blockade or rather of collaboration?”, Mr. Antonenko provided the analysis of the provisions of the draft law “On Establishment of a Special Economic Zone in Crimea and on Peculiarities of Conducting Economic Activity in the Temporarily Occupied Territory of Ukraine”.
