Andrew Zablotskyi will speak at the Ukrainian-American Agrarian Congress
Andrew Zablotskyi, senior associate with Sayenko Kharenko, will speak at the Ukrainian-American Agrarian Congress, which will be held on 24-25 March in Washington, D.C. The Congress will be organized jointly by the Ministry of the Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC), the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC), USAID, and Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAC). Mr. Zablotskyi will speak on the latest changes in market regulation in Ukraine’s agricultural sector and the prospects of its reforming.
The participants of the Congress will have a great opportunity to discuss the following issues: prospects of investment in Ukraine’s agricultural sector, the main program of agricultural insurance in the United States and Ukraine, cooperation between Ukraine and the United States in the field of agricultural engineering, development of non-governmental organizations, etc.
The main purpose of the Congress is to significantly increase dialogue, cooperation, business and economic development agreements with the private agribusiness industry in the United State and the U.S. government to assist Ukraine in the rapid development of the Ukrainian agri-industrial complex.
Andrew Zablotskyi has a particularly strong background and expertise in regulatory and transactional matters in the agricultural sector. For many years, Andrew has been advising leading Ukrainian agricultural associations, global and local agriholdings and traders, international donors and state-owned companies, including Ukrainian Grain Association, on international trade and GR issues and export-import transactions. Andrew is ranked among notable practitioners in agribusiness in Ukraine according to Ukrainian Law Firms 2014 edition by Yuridicheskaya Practika publishing house.
