Sayenko Kharenko facilitates the development of GR in Ukraine

On 5 June 2015, Andrew Zablotskyi, senior associate and agro projects coordinator at Sayenko Kharenko, spoke on how Government Relations work in agrisector of Ukraine, at the GR Forum held in the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, Kyiv.

Major international companies attended the Forum to discuss Government Relations, which is still an emerging sphere in Ukraine. Only a few first-rate Ukrainian companies employ in-house GR specialists, while most companies face many new risks and require a dialogue with Ukrainian authorities due to recent events in the country.

“Globally, GR is aimed at establishing effective relationship with state authorities, but still GR and lobbying are yet to be regulated on the legislative level in Ukraine”,– comments Andrew Zablotskyi.
