Sayenko Kharenko strengthens its tax expertise

Following a thorough taxation reform, which was presented by the Government of Ukraine in early September, both national and international businesses operating in the country face considerable changes. These changes will include novelties in tax structuring as well as the procedure of control by taxing authorities and others.

In this period of novelties, Sayenko Kharenko strengthens its taxation capacities. Following Serhiy Verlanov’s appointment in July as tax practice head, in September Oleksandr Markov joins the firm’s tax practice team as a senior associate. Oleksandr has extensive experience in taxation and tax litigation matters. Prior to joining Sayenko Kharenko, Mr. Markov worked for one of the Big Four auditing companies.
