Legal Business ranks Sayenko Kharenko among Europe’s Top 100 Independent Law Firms

The firm is announced to be the standout performer taking strong position among Ukraine’s top two law firms

Sayenko Kharenko has been included among the Europe’s Top 100 independent law firms by the European Elite 2016, a new special report by Legal Business magazine. Sayenko Kharenko is one of only two law firms nationwide to be named to the Legal Business’s European Elite 2016.

As stated by the European Elite “the firm specialises in advising banks, counting Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank and the EBRD among its clients”. The report further highlights that last year Sayenko Kharenko acted as “Ukrainian legal counsel to Citi, J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley, lead managers of two Eurobond issues by Ukraine”.

The European Elite is a new special report by Legal Business magazine identifying the leading independent firms in Europe, rather than the local offices of international firms. It comprises independent law firms based in more than 40 European jurisdictions within 12 regions: Baltics; Benelux; CEE; France; Germany; Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and the Balkans; Iberia; Ireland; Italy; Nordics; Russia and CIS; and Switzerland. To compile the 100 firms featured in the report Legal Business analysed more than 150 of the Europe's largest law firms by the number of lawyers, as well as more than 150 of the top-ranking firms of The Legal 500 EMEA 2016. A combined score was given according to the size of the firm and its ranking in The Legal 500. The 100 firms with the highest combined score make the Euro Elite list.
