Sayenko Kharenko once again top-ranked by IFLR1000

The recently published IFLR1000 2017 Financial and Corporate rankings seals Sayenko Kharenko’s top league position in the Ukrainian legal market. This is the ninth year running that Sayenko Kharenko has been top ranked by IFLR 1000.

Sayenko Kharenko is one of only three law firms in Ukraine that are top ranked in both categories. In addition, partners Vladimir Sayenko, Michael Kharenko and Nazar Chernyavsky were recognized as leading lawyers in their respective practice areas.

The IFLR1000 highlighted that Sayenko Kharenko is “one of the country’s leading commercial firms” and has “banking, capital markets and M&A experts and a larger team than most of its closest rivals.” Furthermore, the editors noted that “merger control is another area where the firm excels.” Among significant clients, the Guide enumerates European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Ukreximbank, Oschadbank, Goldman Sachs, Commerzbank.

The IFLR1000 is the guide to the world’s leading financial and corporate law firms and lawyers. Its first rankings were published in 1990 and it currently researches over 120 jurisdictions worldwide. The rankings are based on three key criteria: transactional evidence, peer and client feedback.
