Breathe Charity Fund Extends Ongoing Support for “Let’s Help!” Fund Beyond “Dignified Old Age” Campaign

In a heartfelt commitment to improving the lives of our elderly citizens, the Breathe Charity Fund proudly supports the “Dignified Old Age” initiative by partnering with the esteemed “Let’s Help!” fund.

Ageing brings wisdom, but it also brings new challenges and a decrease in energy levels. Many elderly individuals, particularly those who have lost their caregivers, cannot cater to their needs. This often leads to a reliance on geriatric nursing homes for care and assistance.

Since the outbreak of full-scale war, such institutions have been sorely lacking state funding. As a result, the already doubtful living conditions have become much worse. There is a lack of necessities, such as quality dishes, bed linen, essential medicines, basic hygiene and sanitation (mobile toilets, standard bathrooms, etc.), not to mention leisure activities, which play a vital role in maintaining pensioners’ emotional state and socialisation.

Therefore, more than UAH 300 000 from previous donations from the “Christmas Miracle During the War” Campaign was transferred to the “Let’s Help!” fund’s initiative, the “Dignified Old Age” by the Breathe Charity Fund. The money was used to buy bed linen and blankets for the elderly.

For eight consecutive years, the “Let’s Help!” fund has tirelessly worked to improve the well-being of older individuals. The “Dignified Old Age” program, a cornerstone of their efforts, operates across 15 regions and serves 127 geriatric nursing homes. Thanks to this program, thousands of elderly have been allowed to enhance their quality of life.

We are confident that our contribution will positively impact many people’s lives, providing them with the comfort they need. By working together, we can drive positive change and make our country a better place for citizens of all ages and backgrounds.
