“Christmas Miracle during the War” initiative raises more than UAH 5.5 million

The fundraising period of the “Christmas miracle during the war” charity initiative organised by Sayenko Kharenko and the “Breathe” Fund has officially concluded. We are now ready to share some important facts about our campaign.

Our joint efforts succeeded in raising more than UAH 5.5 million.

We collected 89 transfers through the Fondy system totalling UAH 1,684,101. The smallest donation was UAH 10, and the largest was USD 80 000 made by Ameropa, a Swiss, privately owned international agri-business.

People from 17 countries joined the campaign: Belgium, Great Britain, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Poland, the USA, Slovakia, Hungary, Ukraine, France, Switzerland, and Sweden.

Sayenko Kharenko was one of the largest single contributors, with a donation of UAH 1 million.

As a result of these efforts, UAH 3,200,000 was transferred to the “Children of Heroes” Charity Fund for the “Light for Children” project. UAH 2,420,400 will be transferred to the “Wrap with Warmth” initiative and will go towards the purchase of warm items for the residents of elderly accommodation within the framework of the “Let’s Help” foundation. This will include woollen tank tops, warm socks, warm blankets, and pillows. The amount collected will allow for the purchase of more than 2,000 sets and their transfer to more than 20 elderly accommodation facilities in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions which currently host internally displaced elderly people and are in need due to significant power outages.

This is an incredible result! We are grateful to everyone who participated. Thanks to your support, children and the elderly will be provided with essential items during the winter season.
