Sayenko Kharenko attended SAHA 2026 in Istanbul – an international defence and aerospace exhibition that brings together companies, investors, and industry stakeholders from Europe, Türkiye, the Middle East, and Asia.

One of the clearest trends across the exhibition was the speed at which AI is being integrated into defence technologies – particularly drones, counter-drone systems and autonomous solutions. What recently looked experimental is quickly becoming operational reality. At the same time, international interest in Ukrainian defence tech continues to grow, driven by battlefield-tested technologies and rapid adaptation cycles.

Counsels Dmytro Riabikin and Kateryna Utiralova  held discussions with companies, investors and industry stakeholders on cross-border cooperation, localisation projects and international market expansion. As the sector scales internationally, legal and regulatory considerations are becoming an increasingly important part of the foundation – from investment structuring and export controls to IP and cross-border compliance.
