Landslide victory of Sayenko Kharenko in Ukrainian legal rankings for 2012

Sayenko Kharenko hit the new record this year by being ranked No.1 in five practice areas according to the newly released 2012 edition of the Ukrainian Law Firms research (ULF), the annual ranking of Yuridicheskaya Practika publishing house, assessing the performance of international and local law firms in Ukraine.

In 2012 Sayenko Kharenko triumphed in the ULF Who’s Who rankings with international trade and international arbitration, being two new practices of the firm, as well as retained its traditional No.1 position in finance, M&A and bankruptcy/restructuring. On top of that, Sayenko Kharenko was included in the top 5 ranking in such practice areas as agribusiness, energy & natural resources, labor & employment and litigation, which has always been the most competitive practice area in the Ukrainian legal market.

The firm's leadership in an impressive range of practice areas is further reinforced by strong individual rankings of Sayenko Kharenko's partners and counsels.

Apart from the Who’s Who block of the publication, which ranges law firms and individual lawyers by practice areas, the researchers compile the Deals League Tables, featuring Ukraine’s largest transactions in 2011.

According to the research, Sayenko Kharenko demonstrated an impressive output in the past twelve months and handled over 20% of all deals listed in the ULF League Tables. The firm came No. 1 by number of deals in antitrust, finance, debt restructuring, and M&A.
