Nataliya Mykolska, counsel with Sayenko Kharenko, moderated one of the sessions of the round table “Decision number 374/2014 of the European Parliament and Council of the European Union on the reduction and elimination of customs duties on goods originating in Ukraine: practical aspects of using new opportunities for Ukraine”, which was held on May 22 in Kyiv and was organized by the State Agency for Investment and National Projects of Ukraine.
Participants of the event, including representatives of central and local executive bodies, local authorities, industry associations, international organizations and experts from various sectors, discussed practical aspects of entrance to and activity of Ukrainian companies on the European market, as well as the autonomous preferential treatment.
Ms. Mykolska moderated session on trade experience and prospects for Ukrainian companies on the European market. During the session, industrial and agricultural market players discussed the main challenges of entrance to and activity of Ukraine on the EU market, as well as new opportunities and challenges related to the introduction of EU autonomous trade preferences. The participants also discussed possible ways of supporting Ukrainian companies by state agencies and diplomatic missions in order to release their entry to and future work on the EU market.
