Olena Perepelynska, counsel with Sayenko Kharenko, co-head of the International Arbitration practice group, acted as coordinator of the 3rd Arbitration School, held on 4-8 May in Kyiv. The School was organized jointly by the Ukrainian Arbitration Association and the Students’ League of the Ukrainian Bar Association.
The intensive five-day program of the School encompassed general and specialized courses in arbitration. The training was provided in the form of lectures, interactive workshops and mock-cases. The students also enjoyed an opportunity to visit the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and participate in the round table discussion on making career in international arbitration.
The School’s speakers included reputed arbitration practitioners from Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Poland and France featuring Tatyana Slipachuk, Partner with Sayenko Kharenko, and head of International Arbitration Practice Group.
Annual Arbitration School was launched by Ukrainian Arbitration Association to help young professionals interested in arbitration to gain knowledge and access to information and expertise of Ukrainian and foreign international arbitration experts. This year School got very exciting feedback from the participants.
