Olena Perepelynska FCIArb, a counsel with Sayenko Kharenko and co-head of its International Arbitration practice group, has been appointed to the list of arbitrators with The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
Founded in 1985, HKIAC has been overseeing arbitrations for 30 years. It is the oldest & most experienced international arbitration institution outside Europe and North America. It won the 2015 GAR innovation award. Now HKIAC is the foremost venue for alternative dispute resolution in Asia and the preferred seat for complex disputes involving parties from across the globe. It also enjoys particular advantage in relation to disputes involving Chinese parties.
Olena Perepelynska is the second Ukrainian arbitrator in the HKIAC list of arbitrators. She has more than ten years of arbitration experience; she acted as counsel and arbitrator (party- and institution-appointed, sole and presiding) in over 90 arbitrations, both international and domestic, under a variety of arbitration rulesand related to project finance, corporate rights transactions, distribution, telecommunications, insurance, maritime, construction and commercial contracts in general including contracts for the sale of goods and services (e.g. advertising, consulting).
