Olena Perepelynska presented at the meeting of the Spanish Arbitration Club – 40 (CEA-40)
On 24 June, 2012 the 6th international meeting of Spanish Arbitration Club-40 “Overpassing the frontiers in international arbitration” took place in Madrid, Spain. Olena Perepelynska, counsel at Sayenko Kharenko International Arbitration practice, was invited to speak with a Spanish-language presentation, focusing on arbitrations with the state entities in the CIS.
CEA-40 meeting preceded the 7th international congress of the club “Critical issues in arbitration. How to address them” (Cuestiones críticas en el arbitraje. Cómo enfocarlas), which took place on 24-26 June, 2012 in Madrid. The congress gathered over 200 Spanish-speaking experts and practitioners in the sphere of international arbitration, in-house lawyers, counsel and international arbitrators.
Mrs. Perepelynska’s presentation aroused a lot of questions on regional peculiarities of the arbitral proceedings involving state enterprises and the CIS states.
Mrs. Perepelynska is Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and listed as an arbitrator of the leading arbitration institutions in Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Ukraine. She has extensive experience as counsel in international arbitrations under all major arbitration rules as well as in arbitration-related litigation before Ukrainian courts. Olena is recommended as one of the best experts for international arbitration in Ukraine according to Ukrainian Law Firms 2012 research.
