Partner and counsel of the Sayenko Kharenko’s white collar criminal defence practice enter the Board of the Kyiv Branch of the Ukrainian Bar Association

The results of elections to the Boards of the regional branches of the Ukrainian Bar Association were approved during the UBA’s meeting on 5 August 5 2021.

Sayenko Kharenko’s partner and counsel entered the Kyiv Branch of the UBA. In particular, Sergiy Smirnov became a member of the regional branch of the UBA in Kyiv, and counsel Zlata Symonenko headed the Kyiv branch of the Association.

Zlata Symonenko commented on her appointment: “The development of jurisprudence begins with each of us. With the team of the Kyiv branch of the UBA, we will do everything to stimulate the development of the industry, the emergence of new ideas and to strengthen professional principles and standards. I am convinced that active people can form a strong community. That is why we will be glad to welcome all the lawyers who want to join the development of the constitutional state and the implementation of interesting projects. It is the exchange of views and professional experience that makes it possible to form precedents in the history of Ukraine. I believe that the Kyiv branch of the UBA will be able to play a key role in the development of law and become a driving force for the implementation of positive changes in Ukraine.”
