Sayenko Kharenko has been contracted to implement a 12-months long EU-funded project: "Implementation analysis of Ukrainian Criminal Procedural Code" (the “CPC”). The project’s purpose is to monitor court cases and analyse the way the CPC and related legislation's provisions are interpreted and applied.
The expected results of the project are:
“The success of the Project will largely depend on developing and maintaining strong working relationships with the public sector stakeholders. Thus, working at this assignment, Sayenko Kharenko’s strong capacities in government relations compliment greatly to our hand-on experience of handling criminal law cases,” – comments Igor Sukhomudrenko, counsel at Sayenko Kharenko.
The project’s findings will be shared with the Government of Ukraine, judiciary, legal profession and civil society during regular information sessions.
