Sayenko Kharenko advises Canada on the CAD 2.4 billion loan to Ukraine

Sayenko Kharenko has acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to the Government of Canada in connection with the new CAD 2.4 billion loan to Ukraine. The loan has a 10-year maturity and was provided through International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Multi-Donor Administered Account. The financing brings Canada’s total economic, military, humanitarian, and other support to Ukraine to more than CAD 8 billion since February 2022.

Partner Igor Lozenko commented: “We are pleased to have contributed to this landmark financing, which is one of the biggest bilateral loans ever extended to Ukraine. Sayenko Kharenko is proud of this achievement and its role as a trusted Ukrainian legal counsel of Canada.”
