Sayenko Kharenko advises Elementum Energy on the acquisition of a majority stake in the Windpark West WPP project

Sayenko Kharenko has acted as legal counsel to Elementum Energy on the acquisition of a majority stake in Windpark West-R LLC. Windpark West-R LLC is a project company developing a wind power plant with a capacity of 200 MWp in western Ukraine, at the intersection of Ternopil, Rivne and Lviv regions. The project is being developed in cooperation with Maxima Development Group, which remains a minority shareholder.

Sayenko Kharenko carried out legal due diligence of the target company and provided full-scope transaction support on the buyer’s side, including drafting and negotiating the sale and purchase agreement and the shareholders’ agreement and assistance with the transaction completion.

Elementum Energy is the largest international investor in Ukraine’s renewable energy sector. The company owns and operates a portfolio of solar and wind power plants with a total installed capacity of 636 MWp.
