Sayenko Kharenko advises Green for Growth Fund on EUR 5 million financing to Bank Lviv to support green projects

Sayenko Kharenko has acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to the Green for Growth Fund (GGF) on providing a loan of EUR 5 million equivalent in Ukrainian hryvnia to Bank Lviv. The bank will on-lend funds to its business clients, primarily from the agricultural and agri-processing sectors, for the implementation of energy-effective projects.

The GGF invests in measures designed to cut energy use and CO2 emissions, and improve resource efficiency in 19 markets across Southeast Europe and Turkey, the European Eastern Neighbourhood Region, and the Middle East and North Africa.

Bank Lviv is a regional bank headquartered in Lviv providing banking services to MSMEs and private clients across western Ukraine.
