Sayenko Kharenko advises on IP matters related to rebranding of the leading Ukrainian life insurance company

Sayenko Kharenko acted as a Ukrainian legal counsel to the №6 player on the life insurance market in Ukraine, on IP matters in connection with the company’s rebranding.

Within the rebranding the company has been turned into Fidem Life. Sayenko Kharenko IP lawyers and patent attorneys team secured legal support and counseled the client in relation to all IP issues and aspects associated with the rebranding strategy and company’s trademark portfolio management.

The rebranding of the company followed the acquisition of the company by Horizon Capital, a private equity fund manager, in September 2010. Sayenko Kharenko also acted as a Ukrainian legal counsel to Horizon Capital on the acquisition.

Fidem Life – one of the leading insurance companies in Ukraine, specializing on life insurance services. Before September 2010 Fidem Life was known under the name Fortis Life Insurance Ukraine, the №6 player on the life insurance market in Ukraine.

Sayenko Kharenko team for the current transaction was led by partner Vladimir Sayenko and included senior attorney Dariya Valiavska and other professionals.
