Sayenko Kharenko advises on USD 500 million Metinvest Eurobond placement

Sayenko Kharenko advised BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse, ING, Royal Bank of Scotland and VTB Capital who acted as joint lead managers of the first issue of Eurobonds by Metinvest. USD 500 million Notes due 2015 were sold with 10.25% coupon.This became another successful transaction by a Ukrainian issuer following a long break caused by the financial crisis.“We are delighted that our firm was involved in all Eurobond transactions of Ukrainian companies this year, which also included the issues of the State Export-Import Bank of Ukraine, DTEK and Myronivsky Hliboprodukt.
