Sayenko Kharenko advises the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark on two secured financings of EUR 8.15 million
Sayenko Kharenko acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) in connection with two secured term loan facilities to Ukrainian companies for the total amount approximately EUR 8.15 million.
The financing was provided under EIFO’s Ukraine Facility, which was established as a loan and guarantee scheme to provide long-term loans and guarantees for Danish exports to and investments in Ukraine. Both facilities will be used to restore production capacity damaged by the russian military aggression and to purchase process engineering equipment from Danish suppliers.
“It is encouraging to see EIFO and Denmark supporting Ukrainian businesses across diverse industries, helping them rebuild and modernise. This financing will aid in restoring the production capacity and will enhance technological capabilities by incorporating high-quality Danish equipment. We are confident that the companies will successfully leverage this investment to strengthen and expand its operations,” commented Anton Korobeynikov, partner at Sayenko Kharenko.
Sayenko Kharenko’s team advising on the transaction was led by the partner Anton Korobeynikov, with support from Vladyslava Mitsai, Artem Medvetskyi, Polina Savinska, and Mykola Suprunovych.
The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO) is a government-backed institution that supports Danish exports and international investments to foster economic growth.
