Sayenko Kharenko advises UK Export Finance on up to GBP 21 million facility to Ukraine for the purchase of PCR test kits

Sayenko Kharenko acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to Her Britannic Majesty’s Secretary of State acting through the Export Credits Guarantee Department (operating as UK Export Finance, UKEF) on up to GBP 21 million facility to Ukraine.

The facility is aimed to finance the purchase of four million diagnostic kits for determining the RNA of COVID-19 virus for PCR systems. The contract for the delivery of PCR test kits was concluded in the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Her Majesty’s Secretary of State acting through UKEF.

UKEF is the UK’s export credit agency and a government department, reporting to the Secretary of State for International Trade and the Minister for Exports, and operating under the consent of HM Treasury.

Sayenko Kharenko team was led by partner Anton Korobeynikov and included associates Oles Trachuk, Vladyslava Mitsai and Oleksandr Motin.
