Sayenko Kharenko among the finalists of Responsible Country 4.0
Sayenko Kharenko is among the finalists of Responsible Country 4.0, an annual awards programme by MMR recognising the most impactful responsible business practices in Ukraine. This year’s edition brought together more than 70 projects across multiple categories, reflecting the growing role of Ukrainian businesses in supporting society during wartime.
The firm entered its “A Dot on the Map” initiative in the Veteran Support category. The initiative represents a structured, long-term commitment to colleagues who have left their legal careers to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Today, seven Sayenko Kharenko lawyers are on active military duty. Each of them knows that their position at the firm is secured from the first day of conscription – a guarantee that goes beyond policy and shapes the way the firm operates every day. Support extends across the institutional, team, and individual levels, encompassing job retention, corporate giving, and personal charitable efforts throughout the year. The firm’s 2025 Christmas campaign raised UAH 1 million (approximately EUR 22,000 ) for the combat units of colleagues currently serving.
For us, taking part in this competition is an opportunity to say out loud what we believe: people who choose to serve remain part of our team. And when they return, we will be there – just as we have been all along.
