Sayenko Kharenko defended the interests of the Ukrainian manufacturer of medical products before the ICAC at the UCCI

Sayenko Kharenko’s international arbitration team successfully represented Ukrainian manufacturer of medical products in the arbitration against the Russian buyer before the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The dispute between the parties arose out of the sale and purchase agreement with respect to compensation for damages and the payment of the penalty for late payment, and included factoring issues, the subsequent assignment of the monetary claim and a set-off of counter-claims between the parties.

The arbitral tribunal obliged the Russian buyer to pay the penalty and compensate the damages incurred by the Ukrainian seller in connection with the delay of payment for goods.
