Sayenko Kharenko has represented the interests of PJSC “Kharkov Bearing Plant”
Sayenko Kharenko international trade practice team has successfully represented the interests of PJSC “Kharkov Bearing Plant” in the anti-dumping investigation concerning the import of roller radial bearings with short cylindrical rollers to Ukraine originating from Kazakhstan. The investigation was initiated on the basis of a complaint by PJSC “Kharkov Bearing Plant”.
During the investigation, it was possible to prove the fact of dumping imports of goods to Ukraine originating from Kazakhstan, as well as the fact that such imports caused significant damage to PJSC “Kharkov Bearing Plant”.
Following an anti-dumping investigation, the following anti-dumping measures were applied for 5 years:
- for the manufacturer-exporter JSC “Stepnogorsk Bearing Plant” – 20.75%;
- for other manufacturers and exporters of goods originating from the Republic of Kazakhstan – 22.75%.
PJSC “Kharkov Bearing Plant” (HARP) is one of the biggest manufacturers of bearings in Eastern Europe and the only Ukrainian manufacturer of bearings for railway transport. Since January 2000 the plant has been a part of the UPEC Industrial Group.
Sayenko Kharenko team working on the project included associate Victoriia Mykuliak and junior associate Anastasiia Koltunova and was led by partner Angela Makhinova.
