Sayenko Kharenko is one of only four law firms to be ranked in all practice areas researched for Ukraine according to Chambers Global 2021

Chambers Global has launched its new rankings for 2021, and Sayenko Kharenko is ranked in all practice areas researched for Ukraine – Banking & Finance (Band 1), Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution – International, and Dispute Resolution – Domestic. This year, six Sayenko Kharenko’s lawyers achieved 6 individual recognitions, which is one of the best results in the market.

Chambers Global 2021 describes partner Nazar Chernyavsky (Band 1 in Banking & Finance according to the rating) as “one of the leading practitioners in the market, with vast experience in complex financing work.” The guide also adds: “He’s also recognised for his track record in handling capital markets instructions.” Partner Anton Korobeynikov is also named among the notable practitioners in the Banking & Finance category and described as “technically sound, incredibly creative and always responsive”. Partner Igor Lozenko is the third Sayenko Kharenko’s notable practitioner in the Banking & Finance category who according to the rating, “climbs the rankings in recognition of positive market feedback and increasing visibility”. The guide also cites the source that adds: “He sees the overall bigger picture and the commercial purpose of the transaction. He is commercial and gives very practical advice.”

The rating names two Sayenko Kharenko’s notable practitioners in the Corporate/M&A category – Vladimir Sayenko, whose client notes his experience in structuring deals, adding that he is “fast and able to advise on very complex matters”, and Oleksandr Nikolaichik, who “advances in the rankings on the back of positive market feedback”. The rating adds that he is praised for his “very strong negotiation skills,” while another client adds that “he is very pragmatic and results-focused.”

Partner Olexander Droug is named among the notable practitioners in the Dispute Resolution: International category saying that he “advances in the rankings as a result of positive feedback and increasing visibility. He handles international arbitration, including investment arbitration matters, as well as working on cross-border litigation cases.”
