Sayenko Kharenko named “Firm of the Year in Ukraine” for legislation shaping

According to the results of the Law Firm Awards 2013 research, Sayenko Kharenko became the first law firm among foreign participants to have won the award for its “Expert and legislative activity” in the nomination “Best social projects”.

The qualified jury highly appreciated Sayenko Kharenko’s activity, emphasizing a high level and significance of the firm’s recent projects related to the legislation shaping and compliance in Ukraine.

Sayenko Kharenko regularly advises international organizations (EBRD, EU) and international technical assistance projects (EUPLAC, OECD, ROLC, USAID) on the improvement of existing and development of new legislation. Over the years, our lawyers have been involved in contributing to core legislation in the areas of antitrust law, exchange control, public – private partnership (PPP), corporate law and corporate governance, securities and others.

The Law Firm Awards research has been held by the Russian magazine “Legal Success” since 2006. This year's research involved more than 20 companies, among which representatives of major national and international law firms. Traditionally, the awards ceremony took place at the annual Russian Legal Forum, hosted by the newspaper “Vedomosti”.
