Sayenko Kharenko successfully represented the leading Russian producer of glass packaging of medical purpose within the anti-dumping investigation related to imports into Ukraine of products originating in the Russian Federation
Sayenko Kharenko's international trade team successfully represented LLC “Ostrov Juice” (the leading Russian producer of glass packaging of medical purpose) and LLC “Unik Farma” (the official distributor of the said Russian producer in Ukraine) within the anti-dumping investigation related to imports into Ukraine of glass packaging of medical purpose originating in the Russian Federation.
Based on its sound experience and expertise in the trade defense remedies proceedings and the WTO related issues, the international trade team of Sayenko Kharenko successfully represented the above companies in the course of the whole investigation starting from registration of the interested parties; drafting commentaries; answering the questionnaires (both for foreign producer and for the importer); participating in the hearings and drafting post-hearings submission, etc.
On 24 May 2013 the Interdepartamental Commission on International Trade adopted decision on termination of the anti-dumping investigation without application of any anti-dumping measures to LLC “Ostrov Juice” and LLC “Unik Farma”. At the same time, the following anti-dumping duties were applied: 13,08% anti-dumping duty to JSC “Berezychskyy Styekolnyy Zavod” and 27,99% to all other Russian producers and exporters.
