Sayenko Kharenko successfully represented Ukrainian Fuel Traders Association in safeguard investigation
Sayenko Kharenko international trade team successfully represented Ukrainian Fuel Traders Association and its members within the safeguard investigation related to imports of oil refined products into Ukraine. The safeguard investigation was initiated by the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade (“Commission”) in January 2011 and related to imports of oil refined products notwithstanding the country of origin and export.
Based on its sound experience and expertise in the trade defense remedies proceeding and the WTO related issues, the international trade lawyers of Sayenko Kharenko successfully represented Association and its members in the course of the whole investigation starting from registration of the interested parties; drafting commentaries; answering the questionnaires; participating in the hearings and drafting post-hearings submission etc. On 22 December 2011 the Commission adopted decision on termination of the safeguard investigation without application of any safeguard measures.
Sayenko Kharenko team included associate Anzhela Makhinova and was led by Nataliya Mykolska, head of international trade practice group, acting under the supervision of firm’s Partner Dr. Tatyana Slipachuk.
