Sayenko Kharenko’s counsel Leonid Antonenko spoke at the UBA Corporate Forum

On 26 October 2012, Sayenko Kharenko’s corporate and M&A counsel Leonid Antonenko was invited to speak at the VI Annual Corporate Forum, hosted by the Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) and supported by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).

Featuring a host of distinguished speakers, this year's forum focused on issues related to corporate conflicts and draft law on Limited Liability Companies, and gathered the leading corporate lawyers, judges and representatives of public authorities.

In his report Leonid Antonenko spoke about the weak legislative protections of the companies’ business opportunities against improper actions of the companies’ directors, underdeveloped regulation of directors’ duties and the case for a legislative reform in these areas.
