Sayenko Kharenko’s partner in the Task Force working on the translation of the IBA Guidelines Party Representation in International Arbitration
Tatyana Slipachuk, International Arbitration partner at Sayenko Kharenko, acted as a member of the Task Force working on the translation into Russian of the IBA Guidelines Party Representation in International Arbitration (the “Guidelines”), adopted by the IBA on 25 May 2013.
The IBA Guidelines on Party Representation in International Arbitration are inspired by the principle that party representatives should act with integrity and honesty and should not engage in activities designed to produce unnecessary delay or expense, including tactics aimed at obstructing the arbitration proceedings.
The Task Force on the translation of the Guidelines into Russian included also Vladimir Khvalei (Baker & McKenzie) and Ilya Nikiforov (Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners).
