Dmytro is a banking, finance & capital markets lawyer with over 7 years of experience in over 120 transactional, advisory and development projects for more than 60 clients that may be summarised as follows:

  • several award-winning and other landmark financial transactions, including USD 250 mln financing to Energoatom for the construction of a spent nuclear fuel storage facility in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone
  • transposition and implementation of the best international practices and the EU's acquis into the laws of Ukraine, including the ISDA 2018 Model Netting Act, the best practices on collective bondholder rights, MiFID II, EMIR, CSDR, Securitisation Regulation, CB Directive
  • multiple Eurobonds and unsecured and secured financings, including transactions with the State of Ukraine (sovereign guarantees and indemnities), the City of Kyiv and state-owned entities
  • multiple restructurings, including within an IMF framework programme, via a scheme of arrangement, and combined with a complex corporate reorganisation, such as USD 1.1 bln restructuring of Mriya Agro Holding
  • derivatives and repos, including ISDA1992, ISDA2002 and GMRA2011 with a Ukrainian counterparty, and other capital markets issues, including transactions with the Ukrainian central bank and the FX reserves of Ukraine, a direct CSD link with Clearstream, local bonds, brokerage and market abuse issues
  • structured finance, including a feasibility assessment of a potential future flow securitisation of district heating utility receivables and
  • bad bank issues and non-performing loans (NPLs) sales
