Oksana has over 20 years of extensive experience in complex transactional and regulatory matters involving an international element. In her practice, she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and matters of corporate governance. Throughout her career, she advised international banks, insurers, telecom, pharma, technology, including IT, companies on their M&A, greenfield and regulatory compliance matters. Oksana provided legal advice to companies from across the globe ranging from the Japanese corporations to the US private equity firms.
In close cooperation with the disputes teams, she developed and successfully implemented strategies to address sensitive contentious elements within the ongoing or planned M&A projects, i.e. corporate, intellectual property or labour disputes, R&W or indemnity claims.
Oksana assisted foreign investors across different industries with structuring executive compensation and benefits packages, workforce restructuring, negotiations with trade unions.
Oksana advised on managing exposure to antitrust risks in the regular day-to-day business context as well as in the context of investigations launched by the Ukrainian competition authority. She assisted with Ukrainian merger control and concerted actions clearances.
Oksana’s professional network covering different jurisdictions is instrumental for cross-border projects, helping foreign companies implement their business strategies in Ukraine and supporting Ukrainian enterprises in expanding their international presence. Her working foreign languages are English and Polish.
