Volodymyr Yaremko is first Ukrainian lawyer to become the Certified Adjudicator of International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC)

Volodymyr Yaremko, Counsel at Sayenko Kharenko, has successfully passed the FIDIC Certified Adjudicator exam to become the first FIDIC adjudicator in Ukraine to be included in the President’s List of Approved Dispute Adjudicators.

The FIDIC President’s List of Approved Dispute Adjudicators consists of highly qualified specialists who have in-depth knowledge of standard forms of FIDIC contracts, as well as experience and ability to act impartially and independently in resolving complex disputes in the construction industry.

FIDIC contracts are widely used in construction and provide for the implementation of infrastructure projects. The construction of a transport interchange on the M-05 Kyiv-Odessa highway, metro stations in Dnipro, as well as other projects financed by large international creditors such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, are examples of projects based on standard provisions of FIDIC contracts. Such provisions provide for a multi-stage dispute settlement procedure including the establishment of the Dispute Adjudication Board consisting of FIDIC certified adjudicators.

This unique certificate reconfirms the recognition of Volodymyr as an experienced disputes expert in the construction industry at the international level.
